We are already into the 2nd week of the new year and I am so excited. Do you ever have those moments when you just get this feeling that something amazing is about to happen? Well, I get that feeling a lot now. One reason is focusing on one of my goals for the new year. That goals is Positive Thinking or getting rid of negative thoughts. I am not a negative thinker (my hormones may disagree) but I realize the power of positive thinking because of the evidence I have seen in my life.
I am a strong believer in the power of prayer and I also believe that many prayers go unanswered because we really don't think or believe it will happen. So this year, focusing on paying attention to what I am thinking, getting at least 8 hours of sleep every night, taking my supplements EVERYDAY, exercising and eating healthy are top priority for 2013 and the rest of my life. Leave a comment below and let me know what you are thinking. Peace!
Creating the life you were meant to live, physically, spiritually and mentally while having a blast!

Some thoughts...
As we countdown to a new year, we leave behind goals achieved and goals not achieved. As I watched our son open his Christmas gifts, I realized several things that kids do that we adults stop doing. Believing. Not the believing in Santa Claus but believing that what we ask for we will receive.
Why do we lose faith and lose hope in the things we believe? Is it that we never really believed? Is it that we remember the things we have done and feel unworthy or deserving? Is it that we don't believe a power greater than ourselves is waiting to bless us. Only the individual can answer that question. But watching our son open gifts, toss it aside and open another as if to say, "oh I knew I would get that!" showed me I must continue to have that mindset. To learn more, here is a wonderful book, As A Man Thinketh by James Allen
As I remember what I learned from the scripture as a little girl, "For as he thinketh in his heart so is he" Prov. 23:7. We really get or become what we think about. As I remember from watching The Secret, the law of attraction works regardless. You become what you think about all day long. I watched it in a family member this past week talk about what they "dreaded" and feared! If you have heard of "self-fulfilling prophecy" then you understand what I am talking about. If you say that all you ever get is bad news, you will continue to receive bad news. If you say to yourself, I will always be broke, that is exactly what you will get.
I know this to be true and have experienced it many times. The new year will bring to you whatever you say it will. Don't just hand your life over to your circumstances or chance. Decide what it is you want. Write it down. Ask, Believe, Receive. It really is just that simple! But you must not just ask, be grateful for where you are and see yourself where you would like to be, do and have. Don't get upset when you see someone else getting what they want. Rejoice with them and know that yours is on the way! Just like our son who asked for the Christmas gifts and with unshakable certainty, knew he would get it. See you in 2011!
