In my business I have encountered woman after woman who knew what they wanted out of life but let those close to her change her mind or convince her she's wrong. When we will realize the power within us to make our own decisions? Something magical happens when you decide to make a change in any area of your life for the better. Have you heard of Proverbs 23:7, As a man or woman thinks in his or her heart, so is he or she? If you think you are a great person, you are! If you think you can be successful in your own business, you can! If you think you are worthless, then you are!
For those of us who are married or in relationships or even have adult children. Yes our decisions affect them but when it can better your life what do you do? Do you just settle because you don't want them to feel bad? Do you live a life less than so that the other person doesn't feel like a failure?
I spoke with two moms recently who were sure that they were meant to be their own boss but their "very educated" daughters have told them this is not a great idea. Are you kidding me? Why is this? Could it possibly be out of fear that the daughters spoke or very little knowledge in the area of business ownership! Noone knows what's best for you but you and the God who created you. Who are you consulting?Who are you listening to? A wise person once told me never take advice from ANYONE who is not where I want to be. I can't thank them enough.Have you ever stopped to think, when you become better those around might become and do better? And even if that don't that is not your concern. We came into this world by ourselves and will leave this world by ourselves. Think about it!
